Our Process

“How do I get started?”
So, by now you are thinking, “How do I get my information on the site and in front of hundreds of golf coaches?”

The first step is to check our schedule and see where we are headed. If you click on “Our Calendar” in the top right corner, it gives you our upcoming schedule. We will be adding new events all the time, so be sure to check back regularly. Once you see an event that matches up with your schedule, contact us and reserve a time for your evaluation. If none of the events match up, we can make other arrangements or you can come to our facility at Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville, Ga.

Two weeks prior, we will send you a copy of the questionnaire. Fill out the information as complete as possible. This is the information that we will use to build your profile page and resume. It also helps us get a better understanding for what you are looking for in a prospective university. You can return the completed questionnaire by email or bring it with you to your evaluation.

Schedule to spend at least 1 ½ hours with us for your evaluation. You will go through the TrackMan® Combine, SAM PuttLab®, and address specific questions related to these tests and the reports they generate. Once completed, we will have all of your information on the site after the next scheduled update.

Once your page is built, we will send an email to up to 10 college coaches that we both agree would be interested in you as a prospective player. The email will contain a link to your page. The coaches will also receive an email update when you update your Trackman combine and SAM Puttlab numbers. Our recommendation is that you update your evaluation every six months so that you can show improvement along with what are hopefully improved tournament results.

“How much does it cost?”
Currently we are charging $500 for the initial sign-up fee and a $250 annual maintenance fee. This includes your TrackMan® Combine session, SAM PuttLab® Pro Evaluation session, and the gathering and placement of all your information on the website.

“What does the annual maintenance fee pay for?”
Collegiate Golf Connection will be updating the site once a week. This update will be completed every Sunday night. We monitor most junior tours and national events. When we see that one of our juniors has played an event, we will update the results for you! If we happen to miss an event, send us an email with a link to the results and we will get it on the site during the next scheduled update if not sooner. It also allows us to act as a liaison between you and the prospective college coaches who are interested in recruiting you.
